We are enjoying the beginning of our Artic/Antarctica unit and we started with a beautiful picture book by Jan Andrews, Very Last First Time (see Family Read-Alouds). The kids decided to draw their renditions of what they thought the bottom of the seabed would look like with the tide out.

I love these images. The arwork looks so special displayed on stands and on the easel. Lovely!
