Yes, I know we've already started, but I've SO enjoyed reading everyone else's detailed plans here and here, that I thought I too would expound a bit and share ours!! Besides, I love to plan, so here goes!
My delightful students (aka dear children) are known here as Violet aged 10 and in grade 5, Matthias aged 7 1/2 and in grade 3, Seamus aged 4 1/2 will continue his Pre-K work, and then there's Sean-Paul aged 16 months and at the pinnacle of his free will and constant motivation to GET INTO EVERYTHING ANYONE ELSE IS DOING-ness!! And what a JOY he is!
For this year, we have found the best fit for our family is the Mater Amabilis free online Catholic Charlotte Mason Curriculum. We'll be using Level 1A and Level 2 for Matthias and Violet, respectively. I couldn't be more excited about incorporating all the lovely materials they include! Violet and Matthias will combine as much as possible for Ancient History, British History and some Science. All of our Nature Study, Art Appreciation, Music and Crafts plus Latin will be studied as a group. Seamus will have his own Preschool studies and he is very excited to have his very own Math book and Manipulatives this year!
As with any planned program, I have a need to tweak and personalize the lessons such that they fit with the materials that we have access to and ones that we already have on hand. Also, as I strive to stay pretty close to Charlotte Mason's philosophy of short lessons and variety in our subject matter we will have ample time in our Learning Cycle for creativity and free exploration of other interests and LOTS of outdoor nature time! That said, I shall list out our general particulars:

Many of the items I have listed are somewhat vague as I may or may not have them for our use yet, but I will try to upload specific materials that we've already started with and please note that all of my side-bar "Bookshleves" have most of what we are currently using lissed as well. One of my goals this year is to do a nice review of materials as we finish them such as book reviews from current read alouds and the like. Please email me with questions regarding any of our choices or if you have found something that you are also using that you want to share!
I hope God will richly bless you in your new school year, thanks so much for visiting today!

I have 5 children who are very close in age to your children. I really appreciate seeing what your curriculum is like.
Can i ask a silly question? My older 4 currently go to Catholic school, but next year they will come home to be home-educated with me. How will my children make their sacraments. Will I need to do a religious ed program or can I still homeschool them and work with the parish to have them make their sacraments along with the school.
Thanks,
