"And he said, "Amen, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own native place."
As we look ahead to this Sundays Gospel, we are reminded how easily others who are closest to us tend to judge us the harshest. Jesus's teaching in the synagogue is a great example of persevering even when the tide is against us, at all times!
We'll be coloring this page from Catholicmom.com as we're still awaiting our Magnifikid subscription to arrive, and this lovely site is geared towards catechism and teaching the faith on all levels, check it out!
We will also look at CatholicCulture.org one of our favorite Liturgical Year sites, and enjoy the discussion there for this Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time!
"God blessed the seventh day and made it holy" (Gn 2:3)
Have a blessed Weekend in all that you do!!

Thank you so much for having this great blog. Meredith, as I consider homeschooling, your blog provides me with lessons I can do with my children. It is like a teacher's plan book, with solid, fun Catholic lessons being shared with me. May God bless you for your kindness and goodness to those of us who love your blog.

Lisa, you've got me blushing again, thank YOU for visiting, without my faithful visitors, this blog wouldn't mean much. I'm so glad it's helpful and meaningful for you!! I am always so excited to hear how someone can use what we do for their families as well! Blessings, as always!
