Oh my goodness, how do I narrow it down to only 5 Blogs that make me think??? (My entry comes with the same disclaimer as Karen E. in that I don't want anyone to feel they've been left out!!)
OK, so who makes me think:
Well, I couldn't be a blogger without all the thoughtful writing that goes on at The Lilting House!! If is weren't for Lissa, I'd have a really lame blog, LOL! She gives me something to think about everytime I visit her, even if it's about decorating in the Waldorf style ; )
I certainly wouldn't be the kind of home edcuator that I have become if it weren't for the always eloquent Elizabeth at Real Learning! Not only have I gained confidence as a mother who educates her children at home, but I truly have become a better mom to my kids for the way in which we are learning together!! It's Real that's 4 sure!!
As a farily craft impaired individual, I couldn't possibly think of going any further than to Alice's Cottage and The Cottage Garden for my inspiration!! She's hands down the ultimate (sorry Martha), and the way in which she incorporates her faith into every little nook and cranny of her beautiful children's lives is something to ponder in itself!!
Suzanne at Blessed Among Men helps me to realize that I need to think very deeply about how I am raising my boys. As the dominant factor in our child equation, I truly want my boys to grow up to be valiant, loving, faith-filled men that have a high respect for women and their God that made them. So she challenges me, and humors me, and is helping me learn through all this boy stuff, when there are days when I think I can't deal with yet another squirlley bunch of sweet little boys!
Wow, only five, OK, another blog that makes me think is Helen at Castle of the Immaculate. For her undying love of Our Blessed Mother and her daily Mary Vitamins that I couldn't get through my day without, she keeps things all in perspective for me! She also inpspired my Mondays With Mary that have been so fruitful for our family!
Well, I could go on and on here, but it's time to get ready for the weekend!! If you haven't done this yet, leave me a comment and I'll tag you too!! Think about it ;)
Blessings to you today!
