We've been having a GREAT time with this DVD from davincikid.com! Here's one days worth of Origami for you!!
Matthias's work, notice the little black piano!
Seamus's work, he loved making the rocket and penguin best!
Violet's creations...her little green frog flips and jumps like crazy!
And not to be missed close-up, Seamus's sailboat complete with sailing guy :)
We will be including these little gems into our Asian Continent Box for another day when we feel like folding and thinking about Japanese culture! Off to read Yoko's Paper Cranes...
Have a great weekend, many blessings in your day today!

Meredith, they are simply amazing! All of that done in one day? I have been wanting to try origami myself (and with the kids) but was very intimidated by it. You are inspiring me to give it a shot!

GREAT JOB on the origami project, Kiddos!!!Origami looks like such fun! I've never tried it myself but a couple of my little 'grands' are experts.

Well, we don't have the DVD, but I picked up a 97-cent origami calendar last week at the thrift shop and the 5-yo has been making origami since. She'll probably get all 365 done before next year. Love your kids' creations!

I love the origami creations and ideas - we recently made an origami style of mitre. :-)

Leonie: With St Nicholas day approaching, I'd like to make small oragami mitres. How did you do it?
