(from Our Lady's book of Flowers)
Song of the May Fairy
My buds, they cluster small and green
The sunshine gaineth heat
Soon shall the hawthorn tree be clothed
As with a snowy sheet.
O magic sight, the hedge is white
My scent is very sweet,
And lo, where I am come indeed
The spring and summer meet. (from Flower Fairies of the Spring)
A cheery little poem for you today, not specifically a meditation for Our Lady, but nonetheless perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon in Spring!! Incidentally, Hawthorn flowers are called May for Our Lady!
I hope you are all enjoying your Trinity Sunday and I'll have new meditations and devotions for Our Lady again tomorrow! Many blessings in this Merry Month of May!

What a cute poem:)
