Part Two ~ Feasting on the Mountain

Well, we had a delightful celebration for the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and believe me it was a very nice respite from the packing that I really should be doing!

We managed a few Caramel Mountians of sorts:

And one more for good measure:

Olmcall

We had fun with these!  After dinner I served Caramel Sauce covered mountains of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream clouds, positively delish!!  I think Our Lady would have enjoyed one herself!

Many blessings in the rest of your week, and do pop back over to Catholic Cuisine to see Jessica's gorgeous Scapular Cake, it's wonderful and it looks so yummy!

What FUN!!! I LOVE the idea of making Caramel Mountains! Your children are so cute and look like they had a great time.

Oh, and your so sweet to link to my Scapular cake! It didn't turn out any where near as neat as Anne's, but my children loved it just the same.

Delightful and delicious! LOLOLOL. You reminded me of a time long past when I worked as a graphic artist in an instructional resources studio. We used to declare 'mel breaks to deal with the grunt work.

This is so inspiring! Can I be you? :)

These are beautiful and look yummy!

Looks like lots of fun... I look forward to meeting you at the FCL conference!

The caramel mountains are very clever, Meredith! :)

Yes, so very clever - and delicious.

Meredith,

That is such a cute (and Yummy!) idea!

Thank you!

We did this the other night and it was a HIT!

Thanks, again!

I think YUM sums it up!

I hope you had a great time at the Family Centered Learning conference! I can't wait to hear about it.

God Bless,
Amber

That does look deliciously festive. :)

I pray your move is going well, can't wait to here from you again!

Blessings! :D

What a wonderful idea! I bet the kids really enjoyed this AND will remember this activity for a long time!
