Okay, here's some fun for your pre-Thanksgiving week:
:: I just love the Let's Explore Creativity site and for the second weekend in a row she's offering $5 off on any purchase over $35.00! She's got some really fun stuff, and I'm thinking about St. Nicholas day which is not too far off! Happy shopping!
:: Crochet a leaf with wire?? Oh yeah, you can see how to do it at A Foothill Home Companion, just beautiful!
:: Need some ideas for a Kids Handmade Holiday? The Crafty Crow has an extraordinary list that's sure to please even your hesitant crafters :) Enjoy!
:: Also showcased at The Crafty Crow, some variations on the Thankful Tree! Ours is in progress, we are thankful for SO MUCH this year!
:: Some absolutely adorable Embroidery Patterns from Wee Wonderfuls! Be sure to check out the beautiful quilt she created with these! Very inspirational and gorgeous!
So what are you up to this weekend?? I am taking a cue from Kathy at Restoration Place and creating a Journal of sorts for myself. She created a delightful Visual Journal and I think mine will be similarly visual, reflective and mostly prayer filled! A Prayer Journal, we'll see how it turns out :) Thanks for the lovely idea Kathy :)
Happy weekend everyone!

So much goodness and so little time. Kathy's journal post is quite inspirational. She makes it seem possible. "today 68, very windy" Doesn't that seem perfectly down to earth?
I have a list at Let's Explore. This is one blog that combines an honest relationship between the blog and the product. I love her site.
Check out this photo on Foothill Home Companion.

I am intrigued by the visual journal. I read this post on Saturday when you posted it and haven't stopped thinking about the journal since. I love to journal but am sporadic about it. Plus I always feel like it has to be "neat" and organized. I think I may start my own visual journal and just see where it goes...no preconceived ideas about it! Just thoughts; quotes; pictures etc that strike me throughout the day!

I'm thrilled to hear you're inspired by the idea of a visual journal. Perhaps you'll give us a peek one day? :-) I have to say that I got the idea from dear Ann at Holy Experience. *She* deserves all credit for the visual journal idea, as far as I am concerned.
