Thought I'd share some of the beauty of Christmas that I've been enjoying whilst nursing sick kiddos during Christmas break.
Eye candy at Allsorts! She's so creative and colorful, dazzling for the eyes indeed!
More delight for your eyes and so much inspiration at Handmade Homeschool, one of my favorite places to visit before I begin any new knitting project.
This 4 x 10 Reading Challenge that Nina is doing looks interesting. I don't usually challenge myself like this as I usually set myself up for failure, but sheesh I think I could muster 40 books in a year...do picutre books count???
And speaking of reading, I always enjoy keeping up with Mental Multivitamin, another great list!
I also added many new books that are now favorites to our reading lists thanks to Lissa at Here in the Bonny Glen! Please pray for the safe arrival of the newest Bonny Babe due any day now :) Can't wait to hear...
Have a great weekend!

These truly are happy links!! I've just spent some time looking through them all and thank you!! I'm loving the pictures at Allsorts (I'd never heard of her before) and am drooling over all the knitting projects from Handmade Homeschool!

Great links. ;) I'm humbled by Mental Multivitamin listGeesh, I'm not so sure I can achieve my own goal but putting it out there in a concrete way can only help. I thought about adding picture books but frankly 8 children's books seemed like too many already. Ask me again when I'm reading about the Dust Bowl.
BTW, has Violet read Out of the Dust? It is such a wondeful book and award winner. If you preread, I would as there are some pretty gripping scences in the book but worth it. Before I read it years ago, I knew nothing about the ture tragedy of that time.
Also, I'm not sure why comments aren't working on my blog. I wonder if others are having trouble. I was having a trouble at Jennifer's a week ago or so but she has a different comment module now so I thought there might be a kink in it. Thanks for letting me know.
And yes, dear Lissa is on my mind and in my prayers.
