The Moon of the Deer by Jean Craighead George is a favorite of ours from her outstanding "Thirteen Moon Series". Jean Craighead George is a staple in our non-fiction reading as well as all of her fiction picks with her engaging writing style about all things in the natural world. Any of her books are a treat to discover!

This non-fiction picture book post is going to add another book each week to my hold shelf. ;) We haven't yet read these so I'm looking forwrd to getting it.
