I can't believe two weeks have passed and we've not done a Non-Fiction Monday post! Well, here we are back again with a fun book for today. The Usborne Art Treasury by Rosie Dickins. It's delightfully colorful and full of very fun and doable art-at-home projects for all ages. There's an especially fun section on collage painting or "drawing with scissors" modeled after the works of Henri Matisse! We also really like the swirly pages dedicated to Van Godh and his "Starry Nights" work. This one will be a keeper for a while :)
I hope you will enjoy this one with your kids too! Follow all the great books in the Non-Fiction Monday round-up today at The Miss Rumphius Effect!

This is one I've always meant to add to our collection, but haven't. It had me at the cover. :)

What a fun book. I love books like this and any book that has a project based on Starry Night is great since I am in love with that piece.

people tend to forget that activity books are also a legitimate form of non-fiction when compared to, say, a book about politics where certain aspects are often beefed up.
