We are slowly coming out of our illness like a slow thick fog lifting off a bay at sunrise. Wishing our past week had been more poetic than painful, however, and I am happy to report that we are indeed on the mend.
Be that as it may, we are uniting our suffering with that of Christ and trying to put things all in perspective as Lent is still just beginning for us.
"Incline Thine ear O Lord, and show us mercy, for we are sinners before Thee." (Antiphon for Lent)
We're gearing up for a beautiful and joyful third Sunday of Lent, Laetare Sunday, I am looking forward to some rejoicing!!
Many blessings in your day and thank you so much for all your prayers and well wishes in our time of need, they were and are always so much appreciated!

God bless you and your family, Meredith. There is a potluck after Mass this Sunday, due to a special visitor.

It can be so frustrating to be down so long. Hope you are all building super-immunity to your new surroundings through this!
Thanks for the reminder about Laetare Sunday - I will find my pink candles left over from advent!
