The NW Catholic Family Education Conference that is :) There were so many great things about the conference that it is hard to know where to start!
First and foremost, I want to thank the very sweet Christine Boyle from Memories of a Catholic Wife and Mother for inviting me as one of this years' speakers, it was a joy and an honor. Also a big thank you to all the volunteers and great people who made the conference such a big success, it truly was well done!
Secondly, it was such fun to have my dear sweet new teenage girl with me all weekend helping to sell my books at our table and basically keep everyone smiling with all her ideas to play or craft or knit! Here's a look at some cuties we shared our day with on Friday:
And yes, that was the next best highlight was spending time with some dear lovely women some far and some near (those are her cuties)! I was also privileged to meet some other great people who were also speakers or vendors, two of my favorites were:
- Lee Binz from The Home Scholar, a great Homeschool High School/College Prep web based business, check out all she has to offer for High School help and college planning, we will be visiting her site often in the next few years! She also has a blog!
- Heritage History was another gem! Teresa Roth has put together an awesome History books based site where you can download old books and print or read online, much like Baldwin project, but possibly better, shhh!!
I had such a good time talking with so many great ladies and am so appreciative of all the kind words offered about my book! I was pleased to have sold out at the conference and have more books on order if you missed out on a signed copy! I will be uploading a paypal button soon for direct purchases of signed copies!
Also, my conference talk, "Nurturing the Catholic Family by Living the Liturgical Year" is available directly from the conference site here!
Many blessings and thanks to all who attended, looking forward to next year, it was GREAT!!

Thank you, Meredith for speaking! I am looking forward to listening to your presentation. I heard it was excellent. I made the mistake of telling my little ones that I would get them something after Fr. Saguto finished speaking and they held me to it. My daughters had a wonderful time with your new teenage girl. Happy Birthday to her!

Meredith, I wish I could have been to the conference to hear you speak. Please let me know as soon as I can purchase a signed copy of your book! I'm so proud of you. What a great accomplishment. How's your reading challenge going? I keep finding books that I want to read, but I'm trying to stay up with my list.

You did a GREAT job, Meredith!! Everyone had RAVE reviews and loved listening to you talk about one of the things you love most!!!
I TRIED not to sit near the front, but Madeleine and Erika insisted....so I tried just not to heckle! :)
I finished the book over the weekend and LOVED it, of course! It's so great and I'm so happy to have it in my home. We're ready for the feast of Our Lady of Fatima!!! Looking forward to GUSHING over it in a few days.....:)
