(This post has been sitting in my drafts folder for an eon, and even though it is a bit belated I still wanted to post it as a record of our nature studies.)
As I have mentioned before we have the pleasure of living within a 6 minute walk to our neighborhood library. It has a lovely children's section as well as a very speedy hold request notification system, a true bonus. Sean-Paul LOVES to walk to the library and on this particular day, as I had him all to myself, we decided to take pictures of all the lovely signs of Spring that were popping up all around us! So, here is what I think is our #4 Outdoor Hour Challenge, need to check my archives! This is our photo journal with some commentary from Sean-Paul:
"Oh mommy, look at the pretty yellow one!"
Cherry Buds:
Gorgeous Magnolia Buds (We have spotted pink, white and a delicious butter color of these magnificent trees):
"Mommy, those flowers have happy faces!" ("Yes, they certainly do sweetie.")
Beatuiful Camelias (blooming rather late as it is a winter shrub in this area):
And a final favorite, "Oh mommy, white daffodils too!"
We had such a delightful day, these are the ones we want to remember and repeat as often as possible!
Many blessings in your day, thanks for visiting :)

Wonderful flowers to observe and I love your son's comments. Thanks for sharing your link for this challenge.

Great post Merideth. We're out on our property finding nature treasures these days, discoveries abound for us too. Too bad you weren't at the NW conference several years ago when I used to attend them all from the very first one to four years ago, we could have met. Heard you were fabulous, and I congratulate you on the publishing of your book. Now to figure out how to order from Lulu. :-) God Bless.
