For Today ~ November 5th, 2009
***
Outside my window ~ It is dark already...such is daylight savings time, sigh. (Yes, I started this post yesterday afternoon and was never able to return to it). Now it is a lovely Fall morning, a bit over cast, but warm and no rain looming, I hope...AND now it's raining, no, it's pouring, oh well, grass will be greener :)
Alot of Vivaldi and Sacred Arias, Mozart's Requiem... I LOVE my playlist!
So many things, but specifically for today, no activities during our school day, just an easy ballet tonight for Violet.
***
Leftover Pumpkin Pie, probably a Beef Stew for dinner...
Black lyrca long pants, a striped t-shirt under a light-weight grey knit sweater, a pink gingham apron with nice big pockets, and my slippers...
Some toasty fingerless gloves, a pale blue lace scarf, clutter-free spaces throughout the house (a constant chore) ...
Lots of good stuff going on! Violet has completed our version (Download Sunflower Basket - Violet) of the Sunflower Basket and we're moving on to our Ivy work. She has really enjoyed the beauty and rhythm of these Literature selections, many were re-reads for her, but oh so good!
The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge! Such a sweet and delicious story by an all-time favorite author! I'm also working on Kilmeny of the Orchard by LM Montgomery (a totally unknown book before last week, gasp!)
One of my favorite things ...
Fleeting autumn, oh, don't leave us yet....For more Daybook entries, please visit Peggy at The Simple Woman anytime!

Hey, wanna share your playlist with me? I could use a classical one.
Here is mine. It is my "happy songs for mama creativity time" playlist.LOL! I put it on when I am painting or drawing, etc. Gets me in the groove.

A lovely daybook, Meredith. We listened to Vivaldi's Four Seasons (particularly Autumn) a lot during our Little Saints study on Fall a few weeks ago. It made me want to buy the CD or download it on iTunes. (We just borrowed the CD from the library ...) So beautiful!
Can't wait to see some of your knitting and sewing projects! =)
I have a little award for you over at my blog. Check it out when you have some time!
Happy Monday!
P.S. I didn't make that Little House bonnet that you commented on. She received it as a gift, but it came right from Walnut Grove! I did make the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton bonnet that my other daughter wore for All-Saints Eve. But I got some help from my cousin, as I'm still a very novice sewer!
