"Rejoice in the Lord always: again I say, rejoice. Let your modesty be known to all men: for the Lord is nigh. Be not solicitous: but in everything by prayer let your petitions be made known to God. (Psalm) Lord, Thou has blessed Thy land: Thou hast turned away the captivity of Jacob. Glory be to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. Amen." (Introit, 3rd Suday of Advent, Traditional Latin Rite)
I do hope yours was as warm and cozy and filled with joy as was ours!
Gaudete Sunday always reminds us of the joy and hope of the season amidst the darkest hours!
"Incline Thine ear, we beseech Thee, O Lord, to our petitions: and, by the race of Thy visitation, enlighten the darkness of our minds: Who livest and reignest with Thee world without end. Amen." (Collect, 3rd Sunday of Advent, Traditional Latin Rite)
May you be blessed with the light of Christ as we near the birth of Our Lord and Saviour!

Your Lucia Day bread looks so delicious! We had simple cinnamon rolls for the special occasion, as it ended up being an unexpectedly busy weekend. I also really like your Advent wreath. Because of my Advent-wreath-mishap this year, I've been noticing everyone's Advent wreaths lately =)
Peace and joy to you, Meredith!

How delightful to be celebrating Advent in such a meaningful way. Your children are blessed to be learning their faith and about the lives of the saints, etc., etc. in such a fun manner!!! Blessings to you and yours, Sweet Meredith!
