Hope your weekend was filled with abundant love and laughter! St. Valentine was gracious to us :)
Yesterday we celebrated Quinquagesima Sunday in the Latin Rite. We were reminded of the Three Theological Virtues in the Epistle from 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 where Paul speaks of moving mountains with his faith is nothing without charity.
The beautiful Introit of the day is a decidedly perfect introduction to the beginning of Lent which begins this Wednesday:
"Be Thou unto me a God, a Protector, and a house of refuge, to save me: for Thou art my strength, and my refuge; and for Thy Name's sake Thou wilt be my leader, and wilt nourish me. (Ps.) In Thee, O Lord, have I hoped, let me never be confounded: deliver me in Thy justice, and set me free."
As we set off on our Lenten journey we focus on our Faith, Hope and Charity, where the greatest of these is Charity.
Many blessings in your week ahead!

I am anxious to begin my Lenten Journey! It will include much lenten reading and praying and much less computer time!!! Lenten Blessings to you and yours, dear Meredith!!!
