With Sean-Paul on his scooter and me with our dog Sadie, we had some lovely mild weather Saturday evening, perfect for an observation nature walk with my little sweetie :) Here's a few of our findings along the way ~
Lilacs; they have such an intoxicating smell, we think they're delicious to say the least! We both took a good whiff :)
I do believe this is English Lavendar?? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I love it too!
We also stumbled upon some Wooly Thyme that was flowering profusely on this little median planting next to the side walk. It was like a soft carpet of purple. Tiniest little blossoms, perfect for a little fairy cup :)
Apparently purple was the color of the day as I spied these incredible lobes of Wisteria. I just had stand and wish I had an arbor with these lovely creations of nature, sigh...
Now we come to some pink finally. I am obssessed with Dogwood trees this year, they're everywhere in our neighborhood, and they are enchanting! The pink ones are just too sweet and make me happy to look at them :)
Our walk ended here with a dusky glow in the sky, a little hand to hold, just me and him, perfect.

What lovely flowers! You answered a flower identification question that I just hadn't gotten around to looking up. I have been seeing wisteria all over the place this spring, and kept wondering what it was.

What a blessing flowers are and what a lovely neighborhood you live in! I think I would be going for walks every evening if I had the chance. :)
Lilacs are my favorite flowers!
Thanks for sharing and God bless.

All of that gorgeousness on one walk! What beautiful sights - you must live in a perfectly lovely neighborhood. And it's so nice to sneak out with just one sometimes for a little special time. I want to go find some wisteria now...

Meredith - I *think* your lavender is Spanish - Otto Quast, perhaps? We grew it for a few years. I love how pink your dogwoods are - ours don't get that deep color.

What gorgeous pictures! A beautiful walk indeed. I love lilacs, too. We have huge lilac bushes in the backyard and even though I'm a little allergic, I always cut some and bring them in the house ... I simply can't resist them.
