Thanks to MaryM (who I am happy to have back in blogland) and a Betty Crocker cake mix ready at hand, we had a lovely Martinmas today :)
Here's a few soldiers for Christ making their Martinmas Lanterns ~
Such a simple and delightful way to honor this gallant and unforgetable Saint of charity and compassion. May you be blessed by his intercession and please pray for all who serve currently in the military who allow us the freedom to be the kind of family we choose to be!
God Bless America
Saint Martin, pray for us!

That's wonderful. This year we just read about him from 57 saints. In past years we've done it up a lot more.
Love the lanterns!

Beautiful celebration in honor of St. Martin! Y'all have a great week!
BTW, no major change in weather so I guess our swans just decided on another body of water besides ours. :-( I still pray they will be back one day.
