Okay, so the first attempt at this sweater was not well received by my eye nor my hands, the gauge was off and it was clear to me that the beautiful Quince Lark was not to blend well with my stash of RYC Cashsoft Baby DK (duh!!).
Here we have the Redux ~
It's knitting up so beautifully and I love the color combination. Almost finished with The Children's Book and listening to The Book Thief, sorry my book offerings have been the same for the past few weeks, reading time has been slower. Sean-Paul and I are still delightfully working through Princess and the Goblin and I'm also reading St. Dominic and the Rosary with Seamus!
What are you all knitting and reading this week?? Head over to Ginny's and enjoy :) Many blessings to you all.

Love how the green pops in the midst of the primary color of the sweater!
I pulled out the baby sweater again this week and am so, so in love with it! Everytime dd or dh walks by I'm all - Come look at this! Touch it! It looks just like a *real* baby sweater!

The sweater is looking good!! How's The Book Thief? I notice a few people reading it ... It's on my list. But my list is super long!!

I like the look of that sweater. I, too, am noticing The Book Thief and am curious about it...

I love the green on the gray. It really does pop. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Nice to meet another grand multi tasker!! Another book thief reader, dying to know what you think of it!!

I bet your son will love the sweater! May I ask who is narrating your version of The Book Thief? I am very intrigued by the idea of listening to a book while knitting, though I am notoriously not great at multitasking -- maybe a simple pattern. I enjoyed The Book Thief so much I would "read" it again.

This sweater is going to be georgous! Your son is a lucky boy. I need to ask, is the Quince and Co yarn all that is seems to be? I have been want to purchase some, but I haven't yet, need to find the perfect project.
Blessings, Elizabeth

Love the colour combination and I totally agree that Quince and Co. Lark is lovely!
I haven't read The Children's Book yet but I'm looking forward to it. Hope you enjoy it! :)

I love the grey and green. Tell me what you think of Book Thief when you finish? I liked it a lot more after we discussed it in Book Club...

Those colors look great together. I'm a huge fan of Quince Yarns. I bought 4 skeins of Snap Pea right around the holidays because it's such a great color!
