Violet is 13 today!!!!  No words can completely describe our joy in this special girl of ours, so I'll just give you her in pictures :))

 

 

Please join us in wishing her a very big HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY!!  We have officially entered the teen years and we couldn't have asked for a sweeter more special first teen to start out these fantastic and blessed years! We love you so much sweetie!

April Showers of Photos :: Holy Week and Easter Day Edition

 

He is Risen, Alleluia, Alleluia!! Wishing you a very blessed and Happy Easter!  For the next 50 days we will celebrate the most important and happiest of all Catholic celebrations in the church year, then we will celebrate Pentecost. Our Lord has died and Risen again and we rejoice whole heartedly, Alleluia!!

 

And before the blessed Resurrection of Our Lord, here are a few things that went on behind the scenes...

 

 

 

 

We enjoyed mostly good health, somewhat nice and then rainy weather, good food and many beautiful examples of God's bountiful blessings throughout Holy Week and Easter.  Many blessings to you and yours as we continue to celebrate these special 50 days of Easter!! Alleluia!

Busy Passiontide weekend for us including, but not limited to several baseball practices and a first game, Matthias playing the organ at Communion for the Palm Sunday Vigil Mass, Violet singing in the Tenebrae Sunday evening, an extended family get together, cello lessons and enjoying the incredible and very warm Spring weather!

 

Matthias playing Jesus Remember Me (hmm, where were those dark socks anyway?) and his first ever baseball game! Our little man in blue, safe on 2nd!

A little of Violet's handiwork. Part of our Virtual Quliting Bee. I am so proud of her fine hand, she is truly a master at age 12 (almost 13, gulp).

 

Please say a prayer for our dear sweet Violet as she awoke with yet another fever, sore throat and headache this morning, sigh....St. Blaise, St. Raphael, pray for us!!
