Well, I couldn't resist after reading Jen's delightful post on Aprons this morning, I thought I'd show you my current favorite. I actually made this a few years ago from this McCall's Easy Stitch-n-Save #M4968. What can I say, I liked the ruffles :) I have worn it off and on, but not lately, so now is a perfect time to don it again with a new sense of joy and purpose while I bustle around in my kitchen or in and out of bedrooms tidying up. It's kind of a Mary Poppins sort of thing without the British accent ;-)
My littlest sweetie greeted me with a happy smile and said cheerfully, "Mommy, I like your new dress, it's so pretty!" Well if that isn't a fine way to start a day, I don't know what is ;-)
Hoping to whip up a few more 1/2 aprons over the next few days. I really liked some of the sites that I discovered from this link for apron patterns that Jen posted. Thanks for the fabulous Friday inspiration Jen!
