I always enjoy looking back at the year that was and recalling snippets of joy and remebering what a blessed life we live. Here is our year in review captured in photos:
January lent well to some great learning and especially some super marine biology research days at the beach.
February began and ended my first attempt at knitting Socks (ahem, still waiting to finish the second, maybe by the end of this next February ;-) It was also the beginning of an early Lent and we started a lovely Three O'Clock Hour tradition that we can't wait to repeat this year :)
March brought the beauty of Spring and some Dog Gone good learning time for everyone!
April is a big Birthday month in our family, our celebrations did not go without much pomp and well, POMP! We also celebrated Easter at our favorite beach.
May brought big changes as our month end move proved to be a huge blessing! We did not forget Our Blessed Lady amidst all the bustle however and were blessed with many lovely devotions in our own way.
June allowed us some unforgettable memories poolside and beyond, but mostly poolside :)
July was much of the same poolside, but I also had the pleasure of speaking at a lovely conference in Colorado and finally meeting the sweetest lady ever, who recently had the cutest twin boys!! Hi Carmie! It was great to meet Danielle Bean for the first time as well and see my other wonderful friends, Mary Machado and Erica Sanchez :)
August started our new 2010-11 school year, and what a great start it was!
September proved fair and bright most days, perfect for weather observations! Our learning extended to the out of doors almost every day which was a joy for all :) We also managed some great artful days.
October is a birthday month for our Matthias. We were also enamored and taken with our resident Anna's Hummingbird whom Sean-Paul affectionately named Bob.
November brought our first and only snow of 2010 which was immensely enjoyed by all, and then it was gone :) I also joined in the Yarn Alongs at Ginny's and have made so many wonderful new blogging friends in the process over the past two months, I can't wait for the next one in the new year!
December was...well, December in all it's fullness. Our Advent was probably the most relaxed and enjoyed as it ever could be and we celebrated the birth of Our Lord at a glorious High Latin Mass on Christmas Eve, it was definately the highlight of everyone's month!
Here's wishing you all a Happy and Holy New Year! Thanks ever so much for visiting all throughout our year and sharing a little of yourself here at Sweetness and Light! May God Bless and Keep You :)
